What Rights do I have as family member/daughter to see father's Will?

Is there any Minnesota case law that states a family member has a right to view a Will. My father died two weeks ago and my estranged siblings [co-representatives to father’s Will and POA’s to mother] refuse to show me the Will; yet everyone in my family including grandchildren have read the Will. I had many conversations with my father over the years and he told me that he was placing certain property in a trust for all six children so it could never be sold. I believe that my mother is a vulnerable adult; she has NO short term memory what-so-ever, and the POA’s are using this to their advantage. I contacted local social services, but they don’t believe that she has been financially exploited [yet.] My Mom will sign anything put in front of her. I am number 4 our of 6 children and estranged from family due to older brother ual abuse and prominent alcoholism amongst family. I was advocate for Mom but my siblings moved her out of her home and into their Wisconsin homes. Seven days ago my Mom was telling me how much she loved me and we scheduled a lunch date and today I finally got a hold of her but she told me that she never wants to see me again and hangs up on me before I can say anything. Siblings never contacted me for the “reading of the Will” and their lawyer says he needs permission to show it to me. I am worried that anger and revenge have taken hold and I could be written out of the Trusts that my father set up in his Will. My parents had individual Wills leaving each other their joint property. My Mom has not been declared incompetent, as siblings don’t want to do that because as POA’s they claim to be making decisions jointly with her. She may remember what she is signing one second, but only minutes later will completely forget what she just did. If the Trusts are “revocable” can the POA’s change my Mom’s Will and disinherit me? I know about conservatorship and guardianship but that will cost thousands that I don’t have. Should I sue to see the Will? Help. THANK YOU!

Was this a paranormal encounter i had?

I am 14 now, and i want to say it was about 5-7 years ago (old enough to remember) i had this (what i believe to be) encounter with possibly a ghost. All i can remember is that it was at this Ramada Inn in Michigan...So what happened was that i went there on vacation with my dad, stepmom, and 3 brothers...my 3 brothers were staying in a room down the hall while i stayed with my dad and stepmom...it was a 2 bed room so my my dad and stepmom slept in the one near the window while i slept in the one near the door...all i can remember is waking up in the middle of the night and feeling cold...the moon was bright so there was a bright cast of light through my room...i stared at the window when all of a sudden this dark shadowy circle (like a black hole) just appears right above the window and it moves up the wall and then starts moving across the ceiling very slowly...i just stared at it and i swear i heard faint voices...then right before it got right above me this face literally pops right out of the black hole and comes right down in front of my face and i hear these weird noises like whispy eerie noises and then it goes right back into the hole..its hard to explain the face i mean it was so long ago but all i can remember was that it was white ...i was so frightened and i became chilled to the bone but for some reason, unlike what maybe a normal little girl would do, i didnt hide under my covers...i just sat there staring at the black hole even after the face popped out at me,, and the hole kept moving for a few more seconds and thats all i remember... i dont know but i highly doubt this was my imagination here...please help? thanks in advance.

What's wrong with my betta fish?

My betta fish has just been lying around for quite awhile. I estimate that he is about 2 years, 7 months old. I got him over a year ago. He has a filter and a light that keeps his tank in the range that betta fish require. I clean his tank every 2-3 weeks depending on how dirty his tank is. It doesn't really get dirty which is why I don't clean it every week like most recommend and I put a tap water conditioner in it. I got him from Walmart. He has a 1 gallon tank which I read in a betta fish book is a good size for a single male betta which is what I have. I used to feed him flakes in the morning and blood worms at night, but then he got kind of swollen a couple of times and I posted another question on here and someone answered to give him a pea which I did and he got better. That's happened a couple of times and I've gradually made it so that he only gets a small amount of flakes at night so that he doesn't get swollen from overfeeding again. But ever since that first incident of him becoming swollen, he has just been lying around at the bottom and at the top of the tank, sometimes on his side. He never really flares or builds bubble nests either. I've seen him flare once and he might have started a bubble nest once, but when I went closer to see what he was doing, he swam away, so I don't know. Does anyone know what's wrong with him? Cough that wont go away?

Help with toddler teeth-brushing?

My son, just turned 2, really loves teeth-brushing time, which is great. The problem is that he is very independent and insists on cleaning them himself. He has a total meltdown if I even suggest helping him, let alone doing it for him. I've tried getting him to do my teeth while I do his, singing and dancing, brushing together etc but short of pinning him down and holding his nose (no I wouldn't!!!) I cannot get him to let me help. Hard to say. The only hint you give is braking. If its the axleshaft, the sound will be more prominant while turning. When you said while braking, it makes me think that it's more likely a brake problem. Remove your front tires and make sure you have nothing hanging or broken on your brake system. You'd be surprised what will cause brake and wheel noise. I can't count the number of customers I've had with front end noise that tuned out to be a rock stuck between the brake calipers and rotors.

My wife is currently deployed to Afghanistan, and about two days ago she told me she just wasn't happy with me anymore. Now she refuses to talk to me unless its very short phrases such as "I don't know what to say." We've been married for about 18 months now, she has been deployed for almost 3 months now. I started attending counseling about 3 weeks ago to try to fix my personal problems and insecurities to maybe help the marriage overall. Need replacement cables for old compound bow, can you help?

I have an old 1991 or so Barnett safari compound bow and I broke the cable on it. The string is new but I am having a very hard time finding the cables as the Barnett company has switched to crossbows and no longer carries the cables. I have taken it to many archery shops and they all say they cannot help me and the design is obsolete. I agree but this bow means alot to me as it was given to me by my father when it was new. I can also shoot the eye out of a bird flying with it. The cable is about 8 inches long or so and is metal stranded with plastic covering, also one end is rectangle (around 1/2 long 3/8 wide) the other is heart shaped as the bow string attaches to it. The rectangle end goes in the cam. Please help, any ideas?

Ok I really need help with balancing the instrumentation (small jazz ensemble)?

I'd like to know what you ended up naming your band but with balancing it There is kind of a pyramid I guess that is used by band instructors and conductors but also applies to jazz combos. Trombone is near the bottom which means that you don't need as many of them, then there are trumpets and the tenor and alto sax. I didn't explain this very well but I would use probably one of each. You might not even need a trombone. If your going to have the sax player playing the melody rather than then a vocalist then use alto but if you have a vocalist then use tenor. trumpets can be used either way. I'm not sure about any of this but I hope it helps.

Rather than use epoxy have you given any thought to using an adhesive like Sika.There are a number of really great flexible adhesive products on the market now.I used Sika for teak decks on my yacht around six years ago and it is still working fine.You can caulk the gaps with the same product and then just give a light sand to finish...works a treat.

Communication problem between team members and me?

I have started working on a new project in a team of 4 since last few days. We are in the initial phase where we need to brainstorm design and take decisons. Whenever I go to the meeting I feel as if there is no discussion and the decision is already taken by the other 2 people before they come to the meeting. Keep it covered and clean it with antiseptic cream or something like that which stops infection, do that for the first couple of days and then leave it uncovered but clean it regularly. 2011 has been a crazy year?

So the past 6 months of this year have been filled with Earthquakes, Tsunamis, a Nuclear meltdown, Hurricanes and floods (Australia), Twisters, uprisings in the Middle East and North Africa, a new war (Libya) and the "death" of Osama bin Laden. What will the next 6 months hold? Can it get any worse? Will it keep escalating until 2012?

What are your thoughts on these children being abandoned via the new Safe Haven law in Nebraska?

I think it's sad and tragic that this is the 'solution' that we have come up with. Those children have one father and he obviously doesn't have the capacity to care for them. It's too bad that we don't offer parenting cles, respite care, services to the family and parent so that the children may continue to live with their father. Clearly, if you are abandoning six kids, you have some issues and it's tragic that we don't have services in place to support this father. Abandoning children should be a last resort and there indeed should be a way for parents to do this safely and without retribution, but it should only come after interventions have been tried with the family...interventions that offer support. I feel for those children. How would it feel to KNOW that your parent didn't want you any more.

Thinking of leopard gecko, any suggestions?

I'm almost settled with my iguana, just need a new aquarium. Well, i've reasearched a little on leopard geckos and i'm beginnin to like them, I want to add one to my collection. I have a lamp and the gecko can share the aquarium with my iguana temporarily, (since the iguana's previous owner joined his leo and ig together, but now my ig has been so comfortable with her territory so I might have to put the gecko in a 20 gal tank. I plan on getting a pair, my mom would be ok but my dad has to adjust and he really thinks they look gross, also only one petstore in our city has leos so it'll be hard to find a vet.. Should I appeal to this lane violation?

So I was driving in Burlington, VT on the interstate at around 1 am. two nights ago when i got pulled over by a police officer. He asked me why I though I got pulled over, I asked him was it because of speed? & he said it was because I was driving in between lanes and straddling the lanes. But I don't recall doing this except when I changed lanes. So I don't understand where he saw this occurring. He was a little suspicious in thinking I was drunk, but found nothing on me like smell or anything in my car. The other thing I don't get is how he could have seen that when he was far away from and didn't pull me over then, but waited until I got on another highway. Also, the section he claims to see me has a hill and a curve which by then I remember I did not see him in my rear view mirror. I was not straddling the lanes, I switched lanes once without signaling, but by then the cop was not behind me, so I don't understand how he could have seen this. He gave me a ticket because he claims that I was bouncing back and forth in between lanes and drove in the middle.. which is not true. I feel like if he saw that to begin with he would have pulled me over when he saw this, but he waited until I got onto a different highway. Should I appeal to this ticket or just pay the fine of $214 & 2 points off my license? I'm only 18 & this is my first ticket.

When she goes to work I keep the baby for her but I have my own children and I have to run my household so I cannot constantly hold him. After making sure he's changed, fed and burped, I have to help my kids with projects, clean, and cook and I can't do all these things while cradling him on my hip. I have purchased a vibrating bouncer, a swing, a sit in baby gym, a colorful baby floor mat, a pacifier and several other things but NOTHING helps except when I pick him up. He instantly starts cooing and smiling when he's being held but as soon as i put him back down he screams at the top of his lungs. My niece NEVER puts him down when she's home. My baby had a little yogurt and a little oatmeal plus some fruit for breakfast. For lunch she is going to have chicken noodle soup and for supper probably some pasta and vegetables. I might spike that with a tablespoon of peanut er so she gets more protein and calories. She is weaned so she drinks whole milk and snacks on crackers and Cheerios or cheese in between. She still only has two bottom teeth so I have to puree her stuff, and she will eat just about anything that way. She also eats eggs, all kinds of fruits and veggies, she likes lentil soup, lasagna and mac and cheese. Eggs and peanut er and the rest of the things you named are good sources of protein for your baby besides the meat. He is getting enough. I would give him pureed meat with veggies if he loves that,though, he is only one, and he will learn to chew and eat meat better as he gets older. That way he will still like the taste later on.

We have a 5 year old son who is in preschool. His dad has been putting him to bed at 8pm, and I think that this is way to early for him. I used to go to church. In fact; I was once a very respected saint. Something went heywire. I mean even though as a child I was ually abused, and treated very harshly by fellow students. Trying to troubleshoot a humming sound coming from my computer.?

I replaced the power supply and that did not fix a loud humming sound coming from my computer. Also, when I unplug the processor fan the sound is still there! The sound does not seem to be coming from the hard drive, but rather near the processor itself. Do processors make noise? I know that can't be good, so what is the life expectancy?
