How did henrik lundqvist get drafted so low?

he won the swedish vezina trophy (the honken) 3 seasons in a row, the swedish hart trophy (golden puck) and the golden helmet, the mvp as per the players choice. i'm also pretty sure he holds the wins record in the swedish elite league. so how come he was drafted in like, the 8th round or something?
