Was this a paranormal encounter i had?

I am 14 now, and i want to say it was about 5-7 years ago (old enough to remember) i had this (what i believe to be) encounter with possibly a ghost. All i can remember is that it was at this Ramada Inn in Michigan...So what happened was that i went there on vacation with my dad, stepmom, and 3 brothers...my 3 brothers were staying in a room down the hall while i stayed with my dad and stepmom...it was a 2 bed room so my my dad and stepmom slept in the one near the window while i slept in the one near the door...all i can remember is waking up in the middle of the night and feeling cold...the moon was bright so there was a bright cast of light through my room...i stared at the window when all of a sudden this dark shadowy circle (like a black hole) just appears right above the window and it moves up the wall and then starts moving across the ceiling very slowly...i just stared at it and i swear i heard faint voices...then right before it got right above me this face literally pops right out of the black hole and comes right down in front of my face and i hear these weird noises like whispy eerie noises and then it goes right back into the hole..its hard to explain the face i mean it was so long ago but all i can remember was that it was white ...i was so frightened and i became chilled to the bone but for some reason, unlike what maybe a normal little girl would do, i didnt hide under my covers...i just sat there staring at the black hole even after the face popped out at me,, and the hole kept moving for a few more seconds and thats all i remember... i dont know but i highly doubt this was my imagination here...please help? thanks in advance.
