What would the world be like if the African slave trade did not occur?

no one can say for certain ,but without the slave trade ,and the colonisation by the European powers , Africa would be much different .the countries that we know today would not exist .There would be less tribal fighting as each tribe would be its own country as it were.Africa had and to some extent still has many resources both mineral and agricultural. so if the west had not plundered this Continent Africa would be much richer and the west much poorer.
