Should we wait to set up the nursery until after our suprise gender baby is born?

I am 21 weeks and we do not want to know the baby's gender. I had winnie the pooh theme picked out for our nuresery but my fiance just went off about how winnie the pooh is gay and what not. Needless to say Winnie the Pooh is out the window :( Problem is I don't like any of the other nuetral baby bedding sets etc. Is it ok to wait till after the baby is born to set up the nursery? M baby shower is n april and I can't think of anything to put on our baby registry since I had all pooh stuff and had to take it all off! Any suggestions with that would help too. Thanks!
