Help! This is going to sound stupid, but what do you pack ...?

In a brown bag lunch, that won't spoil? I got bullied into a twice/week volunteer program, that requires work outside in the heat. I don't want to lug a cooler around, but need to bring my own lunch. I don't cook either, so I have no leftovers. Anything other than peanut er? Please help!!!
