I just tuggred my belly on piercing. Is it normal for it to bleed alot?

I've had my piercing for about 8 months now &+ it was irritated the past week. Today while getting in my car my bag caught my piercing and it bleed alot and it looked like a little slab of skin was pulled out. Is this normal?
