What is a good lure or bait to use for salmon fishing in the colder months?

I want to go catch some decent size salmon in a popular lake for salmon fishing in my town but im not sure what to types of lures or bait to use! I haves tons of soft baits such as sinkos, split tails, shads, grubs and banjo minnows and I also have a large selection of Rapalas, will any of that work or should i use something along the line of Powerbaits?
