Should people who use the phrase: "political correctness gone mad" be taken out and shot?

Am I the only one who is getting fed up with the gullible Daily Mail reading types who willingly swallowing any rubbish people tell them without making the simplest effort to consider whether it might just contain a glimmer of exageration?
