Access to Midwifery course in North Devon?

I've recently left the Army due to having a child and want to find a new career...after alot of thought, I have decided that I'd like to take the midwifery path. Only problem is I live in North Devon, where the colleges don't do any access to midwifery or nursing courses. I was wondering if anyone knew if I could do any other access course to do midwifery or if anyone from North Devon has done one? I can't afford to do a Distant Learning course.
